1949 Indian Bodhisattva Stamp - Postage Stamp Necklace
1949 Indian Bodhisattva Stamp - Postage Stamp Necklace
This necklace features a 1949 Indian stamp stamp from Monuments and Temples series. The Stamp depicts Bodhisattva: In Buddhism, a bodhisattva is any person who is on the path towards Buddhahood. In the Early Buddhist schools as well as modern Theravada Buddhism, a bodhisattva refers to anyone who has made a resolution to become a Buddha and has also received a confirmation or prediction from a living Buddha that this will be so.
The image was taken from a real, used, vintage postage stamp and may have post office cancellation marks.
The size of the pendant is 18mm and the chain is 18 inches long, in a matching antique bronze finish with a lobster clasp.
Pendants are water resistant but not waterproof, I recommend removing before showering, bathing or swimming.
