This is a pair of French clip earrings in an antique bronze finish and features a 1958 postage stamp from the United States of Gardening and Horticulture.

This stamp was issued in conjunction with a centennial celebration of the birth of noted horticulturalist Liberty Hyde Bailey. Bailey (1858-1954) founded the College of Agriculture at Cornell University in 1888, and was the dominant figure in the field of horticulture until his death on Christmas Day in 1954. He was also the co-founder of the American Society for Horticultural Science in 1903, and wrote 65 books on the subject.

The images were taken from a real, used, vintage postage stamp and may have post office cancellation marks.

Size of earring is 18mm and they are lead and nickel free.

Earrings are water resistant but not waterproof, I recommend removing before showering, bathing or swimming.
