This necklace features a 1965 Czech Stamp from Czechoslovak cities series. The Stamp depicts Košice, the biggest city in eastern Slovakia and in 2013 was the European Capital of Culture.
The city has a well-preserved historical centre, which is the largest among Slovak towns. There are many heritage protected buildings in Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Nouveau styles with Slovakia's largest church: the St. Elisabeth Cathedral, which is illustrated in the stamp.
The image was taken from a real, used, vintage postage stamp and may have post office cancellation marks.
The size of the pendant is 18mm and the chain is 18 inches long, in a matching antique bronze finish with a lobster clasp.
Pendants are water resistant but not waterproof, I recommend removing before showering, bathing or swimming.
